As our cocktail community has grown, so has the need for a top-of-class cocktail catering as well as an event service agency that stresses the craft of the cocktail.

It also offers creative services such as private spirit tastings ranging from tequila to cognac to whiskey, led by experts. We can also design signature cocktails for your event that matches the style, theme and budget of your event whether it’s a small private affair of 25 people or a large event of 10,000. We have a roster of professional talent with a vast amount of experience in batching, creating and serving cocktails, wine & champagne service and flair.

Rattle & Rum LLC is a collaboration effort from the Founders of Arizona Cocktail Week and some of the top bartending talent in the state. After producing the first Arizona Cocktail Week in 2011, we were getting asked to do more and more events – both public and private.   With our expertise in spirits, event production experience and contacts in the spirits industry not just in the state, but around the country, we felt that it was a natural thing to do and would fill a need, especially in our local community. We want to continue to help build Phoenix as a world-class cocktail destination.

Damon opened his first bar in 1995, a dance club in Albuquerque NM, at the request of a friend on a wing and a prayer, with no experience in the field. After five successful years of on-the-job training, he set his sights on a larger market and moved to Phoenix AZ.

After 20 years in the industry Damon has been involved in nearly every aspect of the hospitality industry, from bartending to ownership. He has a proven track record for developing effective, profitable restaurant and bar concepts and a zeal for producing prosperous special events.

In 2010, he was approached with the idea of Arizona Cocktail Week; an idea he knew from the beginning was a good one. As one of the original founding members of Arizona Cocktail Week, Damon shares responsibility for the company’s vision, strategy and operations. His extensive experiences, and knowledge of the industry, are an integral part of Arizona Cocktail Week’s growth and success.

Damon is a mentor to his peers, and is passionate about any project he undertakes. His belief that success in this business is tied to relationships, more than anything else, is evident in all that he is involved in.
